Children under 16, and those under 19 in full-time education, are entitled to free NHS eye examinations. This includes the same level of professional care as a private appointment. At Wickersley Eye Clinic, we offer coloured overlay assessments to help identify whether a specific colour filter can make reading more comfortable and improve concentration. During the assessment, your child will try different coloured overlays while reading to see which provides the clearest, most relaxed vision.
